My apologies for not posting on Monday, but I wanted this week's blog to stay up all week and weekend to help ensure that is is visible and available for everyone to take advantage of this incredible offer. This is one of those offers that we have once a year to help increase activity and give everyone a reason to order. The offer only works if our teams know about it, so massive personal contact is key. What is massive personal contact? It isn't email, that I can tell you. While post calls are far more effective than email, and a good option if you have hundreds of people on your team, there is nothing like a personal phone call to make a person feel special and appreciated. See below to understand the strategy of this offer and create an action plan to engage and activate you team: Strategy Engage all levels of Consultants, allowing them to order their products and receive the 50% career level discount. This means that they will save at least 50% on non-sale items OR save even more on items that are previously discounted. Objective Maintain team size by keeping your Consultants active and encouraging those who are on their way to VIP to receive the benefits of the VIP discount. Audience Everyone who is below the level of VIP, who do not already receive the 50% career level discount. “Consumer” Consultants – Those who remain active in order to receive a discount on the products that they use personally and/or share with family and friends. Consultants on their way to VIP – Those who have recently joined and working toward the level of VIP. This incentive will keep them motivated and active and help them see the benefits of earning 50% profit on everything that they sell. Potential Inactive Consultants – Those who have not placed their minimum $100 order in the past 4 months and risk becoming inactive at the end of the month. Inactive Consultants – Those Consultants who have gone inactive, but still have the opportunity to regain activity with an order. (This month they can come back with any size order). Action Plan Segment your teams into the above-mentioned categories and create a contact plan to ensure that they are aware of the offer. The message you send is very different depending on the audience you are trying to appeal to. For instance, making 50% PROFIT is likely not going to be the message that your “Consumer” Consultants or Inactive Consultants care anything about. They want to SAVE money, so target your communication to them to speak to the opportunity for them to save when they stock up on their favorite products. Similarly, target your communication to your Consultants who are selling to speak to the benefits of the 50% profit they will receive. Don't just focus on the opportunity to save 50%, but point out products that were previously discounted, such as Cell Block C SPF 20 (which they can pick up for $7.50 US), or Tinted Lip Balms (which they can pick up for $4 US), or any of the products in the WHO sale which are 10% off retail (before their 50% career level discount). Communications Strategy We will have our normal, planned communication strategy to communicate to the segmented audiences; however, this should not replace your personal contact strategy. The Consultants on your teams are YOURS and they respond to you, not us. For them, YOU are BeautiControl, so your communication will be key to ensure that you work this offer to your advantage. Below is our communications schedule so you are aware: DAY ZERO – 6/19: Email to all Directors and VIPs with and explanation of the offer copy of email that will be sent to their teams. DAY 1 – 6/20 (Wednesday): 1. Offer Email sent to all consultants (9 am CDT) 2. POP UP detailing the offer goes live BeautiNet 3. Standard distribution on BeautiNet: rolling banner, best offers. Day 3 – 6/22 (Friday): Reminder email all consultants Day 6 – 6/25 (Monday): 48 hours (2 days left) email to all consultants Day 7 – 6/26 (Tuesday): Last 12 Hours all consultants This offer is a tool for you to increase your paycheck for the month of June. The success of this offer is the direct result of your contact with your teams. IMPORTANT: PLEASE encourage your Consultants NOT to wait until the final hours to place their order. I can promise you that there will be tremendous web traffic from 6pm – 12am on Tuesday night. There is not a system in the world that can handle 50,000 orders in a 3 hour span of time. This is an avoidable frustration, so please be sure you communicate this clearly. There's nothing worse than spoiling a great offer with anxiety when everyone waits to place their order until the last hours of the sale.
